For 1964 to 1981 Pontiac V8’s 326 350 389 400 421 428 455 and stroker engines
Don’t use the crank bolt to turn your crankshaft during your Pontiac V8 engine build.
This handy tool or socket slips right into the crank snout and engages the key (use smaller keyway)
the socket is the same OD as the balancer, so it will go through timing cover seal.
That also allows for alignment check of seal but see my timing cover alignment tool for better alignment.
