KRE Northwind Street/Strip Intake

New street strip intake from KRE - the Northwind. Great for for those searching power but still wanting to keep the stock hood and an air cleaner. This intake is approx 1.25" lower then a Victor intake, yet flows better! This manifold is for horsepower applications from 550-800 HP in the 2500-7000 rpm range. Std. design is 4150 Holley style carb with a RA IV port match machined into the intake. Great for high hp engines that run a stock hood and an air cleaner. A new intake manifold designed for all out street/strip performance! The Tomahawk was designed to meet the Street/Strip needs of a broad market segment – owners of Pontiacs who need an intake that will fit under their hood and that will feed 300 cfm cylinder heads. Though the Tomahawk has tremendous performance potential it is not being marketed as a replacement for “race” manifolds like the Victor or Warrior. FAQ

Q-- Will it work with a edelbrock performer or thunder series carb? And still work with the shaker hood scoop? A-- Yes to the carb and not sure on the shaker hood scoop. I dont think it will work, I always use Q-jets with the shakers.
Q-- Does it come with its own gaskets or do I need to order a special kind?A-- It comes with the carb gasket. Intake gaskets can be the standard or RAIV type. We carry both.
